Let’s do a quick rewind of last week: I set my sights on hitting 23 miles, but guess what? I kicked it up a notch and clocked in at 24 miles, thanks to an unexpected 9-mile long run instead of the planned 8!
Looking ahead to next week, it’s all about maintaining the momentum and building on that foundation. The plan includes three 5-mile runs and a long run of 9 miles. I’m particularly excited for one of those 5-milers, which will feature a speed workout—probably going for 4×800 hill repeats. It’s quickly become my favorite routine.
Now, as for pace, I am aiming to be between 8:45 to 9:00 per mile for those 5-milers. So, who’s up for a week of running adventures? Let’s lace up, hit the pavement, and turn those miles into memories!
