Here is my upcoming race plan:

I decided to sign up for as many 5k races as realistically possible over the next 8 months. Fortunately, there is a series race with one a month from April through October.

I think I will be under 21 minutes for the first race! A month or two ago I would have said 23 minutes, but my runs have been really solid lately. Knock on wood, injury gods willing, I don’t get hurt – I have a good feeling 21 minutes should happen.

After that, I think shaving 30 seconds off a month during each race is possible, which would put me at 18 minutes. That is exactly where I thought I could be by the end of the year.

April 18 is the first race, let’s do this!
