I had a great run today, felt smooth and easy. Pace was an average of 8:45 for 5 miles. Here are the splits

Mile 1: 8:46

Mile 2: 8:46

Mile 3: 8:45

Mile 4: 8:43

Mile 5: 8:43

Talk about good pacing! When I first started running I ran without a watch, all these years later I can still tell where I am at without one. Iv’e found it to be an important tool for judging the intensity of my workouts – it really keeps me in check. Along with not being a slave to technology.
