Calling myself out – posting this April 8 but back dating it to track my workouts.

I struggled to find motivation for this one. Thankfully my running community kept me accountable! After my buddy sent me his long run I knew I was just making excuses and had to get it done.

Started out with the plan to run 5 but felt good and ended up getting in all 9. My pace was right where I wanted at 8:50 and as has been normal while in Georgia I started slow and finished fast.

Around mile 6 I started to feel some discomfort in my left hip. It was not so bad that I had to stop and it wasn’t with every stride. So I made the choice to push through. At the time of writing this (36 hrs after the run) the pain is 95% gone. I think I will give it another day or two just to make sure I don’t make it any worse.
