This week was definitely not my best. But I still got in some mileage. So, I think at the very worst I maintained my current fitness level – which feels fine on vacation.
I ran 3 times – two 5 mile runs and a long run of 9. My original goal for the week was four 5-mile runs totalling 20 miles. I logged 19.
Feeling the start of an injury during the long run was definitely the low point. However, I don’t think it’s going to be anything serious but I can’t say with 100% certainty.
On the bright side, my overall pace has been perfect! Every run between 8:40-9:00 pace. Getting under 9 minutes feels really great – like I am finally starting to see some real progress.
