Once again, I have to call myself out for falling behind as I post this on Sunday, April 14.
This run was a great rebound from my last run! Funny how the trend is that your slowest runs are followed by some of your fastest runs. For this one, I ran 5 miles at an 8:20 pace – which is probably my fastest run this year! I had a heart rate of under 150, which is my zone 3 aerobic, but it felt easy, so I can’t complain. To top it off, there was no hip pain or any sign that there might be a linger issue.
This is one of those great, motivating runs that gets you out the door to keep building your base!
