Quick recap of the previous week: I ran a total mileage of 20 miles. Which consisted of four 5-mile runs. I did not feel the best or very motivated to go further or faster but I am happy with the total mileage; as it keeps me within my weekly target.

This coming week I am aiming for something similar. Monday – Thursday I won’t have much time to train, so anything I can get in will be a huge plus. That being said, Friday-Sunday are must run days. If I can get in two to three 5-milers and/or a 10-miler, I will be happy!

Unfortunately, this will be my third week of no speed work. I am starting to get a little nervous about my first 5k next month in quite some time. I still have four weeks until race day – but it would be a lie to say I’m not worried about being conditioned for speed by then.
