We are back!
I had a fantastic threshold workout on Thursday – idea courtesy of my Garmin watch. Two-mile warm-up, then 3×6:00 min @ 7:00 min/mile pace, with two minutes recovery between.
Interval 1: 6:44/ mile pace
Interval 2: 6:34/ mile pace
Interval 3: 6:32/ mile pace
I thought this workout would be much harder, but I crushed my goal time and still didn’t feel too bad afterwards. My body is returning to running form pretty quickly! Next time I do this workout, I need to decide if I decrease my goal pace or increase the number of repeats.
