I was supposed to run 5 miles June 8 and 12 June 9 but decided to take the weekend off. I think it would have been great to get in some training in the Florida heat but decided the payoff was not worth it. I’m only here for the weekend with family and was struggling to balance everything we wanted to do. It’s disappointing that my mileage this week will be 20 miles instead of 37. But I will still run 4 days out of 7. Historically, for me, that’s really great.

Trying to see the positives is hard but it’s also a great lesson in planning and using my time wisely. Next workout will be Monday afternoon, post flight home. No excuses for that!
