Workout today was:
9 miles (hilly) @ 8:00/mile – Asheville, NC
I wanted to do a hill workout today but changed up my route so I could end at the YMCA and meet my family there. They showed up at the end of my run, and since I had so much extra time, I actually got in my first swim of the year! It was only 1500m and took me 25 minutes with two 5-minute breaks. Nothing special, but happy to be back in the pool.
I am happy with the hills I ran today—although it’s arguable that it would have been better to do hill repeats. No matter what, hills build character!
