The plan was always to run whatever got me to my weekly mileage, but I waited until the very last minute to get it done. Better late than never!
Nothing glamorous, just 10.5 miles on a crappy gym treadmill. Pace was 8:00/mile, but I was able to focus on my form. I ran some track intervals on Saturday and was not happy with how I looked fatigued. But I looked good on the treadmill – albeit optimal conditions.
A cool stat was my HR average – 131 for this run. Last year around November, I would have been close to 140 for this run. The progress is sometimes hard to measure day to day, but even harder to imagine I would have come this far 6 months ago.
